Weronika Michalak is HEAL’s country office director in Poland. Her main activities are coordinating and communications and outreach activities to raise awareness among health actors, public and the media on health impacts of climate change and air pollution from domestic coal burning, transport and energy production. She coordinates local campaigns on environmental factors influencing public health, as well as is a co-author of all HEAL Poland publications and author of numerous articles on the air pollution health consequences and needed regulations to improve Polish air quality.
